Sunny days and warm nights were abundant in the tropical artist village of Coconut Grove, Florida. Having a creative artist as a father lead to weekend trips to the local art store where imagination soared. Father son adventures were filled with expressive drawing, painting and sculpting. By the youthful age of nine, Eliot was off to apprentice with a grand Italian master of the Classical arts. Formal education culminated at Cornell University with a Bachelor of Architecture.

Creativity and design played the lead in establishing two New York based businesses. Raffit Ribbons offered the finest raffia, ribbons, trim, and cording on vintage spools to the world of fashion, as well as the floral trade, gourmet, stationery, packaging and crafts. Abundantly elegant, Eliot Raffit X was formed to entice international collectors of luxury holiday ornaments, seasonal décor, and accessories at the finest luxury stores in the world including Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Harrods in London and Lane Crawford in Asia. The Eliot Raffit label began licensing annual exclusive collections to Kurt Adler, the world’s leader in Christmas commerce, with showrooms worldwide.

Throughout the years, Eliot has worked with elite CEOs across the globe helping to refine their unique image and massage. From the lens of retail and entrepreneurship, Eliot has become a leader among international brand and marketing agencies. Shaping a name, logo, imagery and story, Eliot has had a hand in redefining some of the most iconic brands in the world.
